Angelo Fantini, a formidable climber in the 1960s, has rediscovered a Super 8 film he shot during the first ascent of the ‘Via dei moc’ (‘Route of the Maimed’) on the overhanging north face of Pizzo della Presolana, in the Orobie Pre-Alps. We digitise the film and meet Angelo, who, in strict dialect, tells us about the climb, his passion for images and the reason behind the ‘unusual’ name given to the rock route.
