Competition for Best mountain photography

Same as with the competition for best short video, the main reason for this competition for best mountain photography is to encourage and inspire storytelling and sharing of the moments spent in the mountains to a much wider audience. The competition is open only to citizens of the R. Macedonia and ends on October 15 – at midnight.

The rules are simple: members of our audience willing to participate should send us files not larger than 20Mb and photos should be at least 1600px in width/height. Pretty simple rules that allow many people to participate and have chance to win nice prizes (highest quality hiking and climbing gear) from two companies: the local Outdoor.mk shop and the well known Czech manufacturer for climbing and safety gear - Rock Empire!

When we receive the photos, we publish them in a Facebook album on our official Facebook profile – so that a lot more people can enjoy them! Once the competition is closed, which this year will be a week before the Festival starts, a 3 member jury will choose from well over 100 photos – which 3 of them will be the best.

Out of all these applications, the Jury first decides which 10 photos are the best and we make an exhibition during the Festival days. Then, during the closing ceremony, when our film jury presents the best film awards, our photography jury will present the 3 best photos and the winners will get their prizes!
